Social work courses

Social work is a profession that is 100% client-centric. No matter whether if it is looking after babies, children or older people you are bound by your code of ethics to help people and try to provide better outcomes. It’s about having real impact and improving people’s lives. Social workers assist individuals and families so that vulnerable people are protected and/or helped to live their lives more independently.

Social workers often work alongside health care professionals multi-disciplinary teams and can be in the private or public sector. This could mean working in an NHS Trust, a Local Authority or the private sector. The range of roles you could enter are all very different, but the end outcome is the same, improving peoples’ lives.. We have chosen a number of qualifications to help you get started in the sector or enter a Social work related degree that could help you go on to become a registered social worker.
